Gmail mail merge that sends each email on its own

A Gmail mail merge in Innmail takes a list of contacts, fills {{firstName}}, {{company}} and any custom column into one template, and sends each email separately from your own Gmail address. You see every finished email before it goes, and follow-ups stop when someone replies.

Start free with your own mailbox

How a Gmail mail merge works in Innmail

Sign in with Google, then connect your Gmail with an App Password or with Google. Upload a CSV or paste your contacts. Every column becomes a variable you can use in the subject or body, so a column called lastTopic becomes {{lastTopic}}.

Write the template once, then open "Preview each email". It shows every email exactly as that person will receive it, so you catch the blank first name or the odd company spelling before anything is sent. When it reads right, start the campaign.

Sent through Gmail, from your real address

Innmail sends through Gmail's own servers, one email at a time, with a randomized delay between sends and a daily cap. Campaigns only send inside the window you choose, such as working hours on weekdays. Each message sits in your Sent folder like any email you wrote by hand.

A new mailbox starts at a low daily limit that grows a little each day up to a ceiling you set. That pacing is deliberate. It does not guarantee inbox placement, and nothing honestly can, but it keeps your merge looking like what it is: you writing to people.

Approve before it sends, then let follow-ups run

The review queue is on by default. Every first email waits for your approval, and you can edit it for that one person, approve it, or skip it. A send reservation means a step is never sent twice to the same person.

Add up to four follow-ups and they land in the same Gmail thread. When someone replies, their follow-ups stop. Bounces and unsubscribes go on a suppression list and are never emailed again.

When a classic mail merge tool fits better

If you want a one-off merge straight from a Google Sheet, a sheet add-on like YAMM or Mailmeteor is built for exactly that. Innmail is built for personal outreach you approve email by email, with follow-ups in the thread. It is deliberately capped, so it is not the tool for a newsletter-sized list.

Frequently asked questions

Can I do a Gmail mail merge without a Sheets add-on?

Yes. You upload a CSV or paste contacts into the Innmail web app and it sends from your connected Gmail. No spreadsheet add-on is involved.

Do recipients see each other's addresses?

No. Each person gets a separate email addressed only to them. There is no shared CC or BCC list.

How many emails can a merge send per day?

As many as your daily cap allows. It starts low on a new mailbox and rises each day up to the ceiling you set, and direct sends and campaigns share that one budget.

Can each contact get a line written just for them?

Yes. Any CSV column becomes a variable, and AI can write a per-contact variable, such as an opening line, which you check in the preview before sending.

What does a Gmail mail merge cost in Innmail?

You get 500 free credits every day, and one credit is one send Gmail accepts. If you need more, there are credit packs that never expire or month-to-month plans.
